When is the best time to schedule a maternity session?

Usually right around 30 weeks is the sweet spot!

When is the best time to schedule a newborn session?

Typically, I will "tentatively" schedule you on a weekend about 2 weeks past your due date. If your little one arrives early we can always move the session up, and we can always push your session to the following weekend if you go past your due date as well.

Can i bring props to my maternity session?

Of course! I encourage you to bring anything sentimental you want to include in your photos whether that be an ultrasound photo, a book, an outfit, etc!

Will you photograph breastfeeding?

Absolutely. I know how incredibly special that bond is and I would love nothing more than to preserve those memories for you.

Doing in home photos with a newborn feels overwhelming...

Disclaimer...I don't care how clean your house is! Please do not feel the need to make everything shiny and spotless. I never expect anyone with a newborn (or any children for that matter lol) to have the cleanest or mess free house, and the last thing I want is for you to stress over it! The most common areas in homes that clients like to shoot include the living room, mom + dad's bedroom, and baby's nursery. Even if one spot of each room you want to shoot in is tidy, I will make the magic happen. Don't you worry!

will you be retouching my photos?

I perform light retouching on portraits by removing temporary blemishes and bruises. I will not alter your body- you’re beautiful just the way you are :) We love body positivity around here!

do you offer prints?

YES! You can order prints directly through your gallery and they will be shipped right to your door. While you aren’t required to order prints through your gallery, it is highly recommended! The printing service I use is a professional photo lab. Therefore, the quality of your prints will speak volumes over the ones you might have ordered from Walgreens otherwise. :)
